James Winfred Smith, age 84 of Pulaski passed away Sunday, August 23, 2026 at the Lewis-Gale Hospital, Pulaski. Born March 28, 1942 in Pulaski, Virginia he was the son of the late Charles & Mary P. Rakes Smith. He was also preceded in death by his brother Charles M. Smith “Buddy”; sisters Joyce Lawson, Mary Lee Ramey; grandson Brandon S. Smith and nephews John Wesley Reynolds, Jr., Richard Wayne Smith.
