Janet Lynn Parr

Janet L. Parr, 62, of Roanoke, passed away, Thursday, April 4, 2024. Janet was a graduate of Northside High School and Roanoke College. She was retired after 40 years of service from the Western Virginia division of the Better Business Bureau.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Fenton & Nancy Parr as well her brother Robert Glenn Parr. Janet is survived by her parents Phyllis and James C Parr (Shirley); siblings, Nancy Doyle (Frank), John Parr; niece and nephew, Stephen Doyle (Lacey) and Megan Doyle (Kim); partner Joe Harper; daughters, Tamara Edwards and Tika Richie; grandchild, Quaesean Via; grandniece Adyson Vandevander and grandnephew Spencer Doyle-Moore as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to Janet's dear friend Julie Wheeler and her friends of the Western Virginia Better Business Bureau.
