Janice Kay Fisher

Janice Kay Fisher, age 78, of Christiansburg passed away, September 26, 2024, at her home. She was born in Saltville, Virginia on March 31, 1946, to the late Leon and Blanche Caywood Venable. She was a member of Harbor of Hope Pentecostal Holiness Church. Since retiring she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Larry Dean Fisher; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Carla Fisher; daughters and son-in-law’s, Shannon and Mark Sisson; Angie and Brent Jacobs; grandchildren, Michael Gathings Tori (Josh) Willis, Justin Fisher, Kyndell (Jessie) Buzzard, Morgan (Seth) Wills, Dakota Sisson, Carsyn Sisson, Kaitlyn Jacobs, Noah Jacobs, and Maddox Jacobs; great-grandchildren, Cadence, Wyatt, Phoebe, Aryana, and Jaxon. sister, Joyce Ratliff; uncle, Eddie Caywood, and niece Robin Gilliam. God and family were the most important part of her life. Janice has blessed so many with her sweet and fun-loving personality. She was full of joy and love and never failed to make you laugh. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 7, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at Harbor of Hope Church, 2720 Roanoke St, Christiansburg, VA, with Pastor Craig Reed officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:00 p.m. before the service. “TO KNOW HER IS TO LOVE HER”
