Janie Goin Morgan of Lynchburg, Virginia
April 6, 1950 - January 14, 2023

Janie Estelle Goin Morgan, 72 of Lynchburg passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Michael Lee “Mike” Morgan.

Born on April 6, 1950, in Appomattox she was the daughter of the late William Henry “Bill” Goin and Rachel Ferguson Goin. She was a member of Eastbrook Baptist Church. She loved singing hymns and animals.

She is survived by her sister, Pamela Goin Watson of Appomattox.

She was preceded in death by a brother, James Henry Goin; and a sister, Dale G. Musick.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm, Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Eastbrook Baptist Church with Pastor Curtis Walkup and Pastor Bruce Johnson officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
