Jason "Jake" Wade Mills

Jason “Jake” Wade Mills, age 45, of Blacksburg passed away, Sunday, December 21, 2025. He was born in Blacksburg, Virginia on April 15, 1980. He was preceded in death by his stepfather Jesse Cantrell. Jake was a mechanic at Redline Automotive in Christiansburg for over 13 years and always welcomed everyone with a smile. He was an avid football fan and loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his mother, Pam Cantrell; fiancé, Michelle McDougal; brother, Brian Mills; special niece, Clarissa Mills; special nephew, Caleb Mills; special aunts, Vanessa (Bobby) Medley and Connie Flora; special uncle, Larry (Teresa) Mills; cousins, Tammy Lawson, Scott Medley, J.R. Flora; special cousins, Diane Simpson, Sharon (Steve) Spradlin, and Melinda Huff; and his longtime employer and friend, Lonnie Linkous. Jake will always be remembered by his wonderful smile and the love he had for his family and friends. Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to help offset expenses.
