Jean Burgess Flora

Jean Burgess Flora, age 82 of Ferrum died Saturday, June 7, 2025. She was born April 27, 1943 and was preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey and Ida Mae Clark Burgess. Surviving are her children, Mark Flora (Kristin), Michael Flora, Heather Flora West (Randy Smith); grandchildren, Trevor Flora, Dillon Flora, Callie West and Levi West; great-grandchildren, Easton, Ace and Kallie. Jean retired after many years of nursing as an LPN. She worked many years at Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital and Rocky Mount Health and Rehab (formerly Eldercare). Jean enjoyed cooking, baking, flowers and being outdoors. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2025 in the Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum at Mountain View Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
