Jeanne "Nene" Lee Bandy Fisher
Jeanne Lee Bandy Fisher, lovingly known as “NeNe,” passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026, at the age of 65.
Jeanne was truly one of a kind. She never met a stranger and had a heart big enough to help anyone in need, often putting others before herself. Those who knew her best also knew why some affectionately called her “Mean Jeanne.” She believed in telling you exactly what you needed to hear—whether it was praise, encouragement, or a little tough love—and she always spoke from the heart.
With a personality much like Madea, Jeanne was funny, outspoken, humble, honest, goofy, and full of life. Her laughter was contagious, her smile could light up any room, and she had a way of making everyone feel welcome. She saw the good in people and loved them wholeheartedly.
Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandbabies. She cherished every moment spent with them. They were her life. She also loved cheering on her beloved Chicago Bears.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy N. Bandy Terry; her father, Eugene Bandy; her niece, Billie Jo Bandy; and her nephew, Roger Bandy; and her special furbaby, Jax.
She is survived by her life partner, John Fisher; her daughters, Tracie Dillon and Brandy Dillon (Daniel Beach); her grandchildren, Kasey Morgan (Jason Dammann), Bryce Carver (Jada Bobbitt), and Corbin Beach; her great-grandson, Waylon Dammann; her sister, Tammy Palmer; her brothers, Michael Bandy Sr., Gary Bandy (Ann), and George Bandy; her special aunt, Iris Fuller; her special nephews & niece , William Palmer II, Michael Bandy Jr. (Cynthia), and William Palmer III, Mindy, Kristyn, Whitney and Jordan Bandy; her special friends, Jay and Will; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 PM on Monday, August 3, 2026 at Lotz Funeral Home in Vinton. A celebration of her life will follow at 4:00 PM with Pastor Bryan Thornhill officiating.
