Jeannette Eanes Toler

Jeannette Eanes Toler, 83, passed away peacefully at her residence on April 3, 2025. Jeannette was born in Danville, VA on January 14, 1942, to the late Henry L. Eanes and the late Nannie Purgason Eanes. She was married to the late Edward Y. Toler, Jr. Jeannette worked much of her adult life as an auditor for CIT Group. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by so many.

Jeannette is survived by a granddaughter, Jennifer Toler Vencill and her husband Dustin Vencill, and a great-grandchild, Jaxon Vencill.

In addition to her parents and husband, Jeannette was predeceased by her son, Gary Toler.

A funeral service will be held at Norris Funeral Home, Mt. Hermon Chapel on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Austin Merricks. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park, Danville, VA.  A visitation by friends will also be held at the Mt. Hermon Chapel of Norris on Monday, April 7, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. At other times the family will receive friends at the residence.
