Jeffery Marlow Joyce

Jeffery Marlow Joyce, 65, of Martinsville, Virginia, entered his eternal rest Wednesday, September 3, 2025. He was born May 8, 1960, in Martinsville to the late William Joyce and Deloris Wells Joyce. He was preceded in death by a nephew Edmund Marsh.

Jeffery was of the Christian faith and a member of Faith Tabernacle Holiness Church. He attended Bassett High School and was a dedicated employee of Virginia Glass and Bassett Mirror Company for a number of years. He was free-spirited and loved music and being with his family.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Shelia Hagwood Joyce, sons, Ron Joyce (Adriane) and Gary Joyce (Lisa); sisters, Dorothy Eccles (Pastor Alfred Eccles) and Mary Joyce; and brothers, William “Skip” Joyce, Jr. (Maria), Wayne Joyce, and Roy Joyce (Cleo); and four grandchildren.

A funeral will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
