Jeffrey "Jeff" Alan Light

Jeffrey Alan Light, 65, of Goodview, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mitchell and Mary Jane Light, and his sister, Clara Brown.

Jeff had a passion for the outdoors and especially enjoyed spending time fishing. He also took great pride in butchering and processing his own pigs, a skill he enjoyed sharing with others. A true mechanic at heart, Jeff loved working on old cars and was in the process of restoring an antique truck, a project that brought him much joy.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Janice Light; his son, Chad Light (Martina); his granddaughters, Haley Light and Emily Kerr; his siblings, Kim Fore (Timmy), Vincent Light (Connie), and Mike Light; his father- and mother-in-law, Lewis and Marie Morris; and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

Jeff will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his love of family, and the simple pleasures he found in the outdoors and working with his hands.
