Jeffrey Maynard James (Jeff), age 67 of Endicott passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at home surrounded by his family. He was born July 10, 1955 to Albert and Claudine James. He married Judy Crum on January 17, 1974 and had four daughters. Jeff loved being outdoors. Hunting, shooting, logging, making moonshine, 4-wheeling, fishing and kayaking but most of all Jeff loved his family. Jeff was the first to help anyone in need and never met a stranger. He loved telling stories about the old days to anyone that would listen. Jeff spent many years as a logger and then working at Elegant Woodworks until retirement. He was preceded in death by his Daddy, Albert James, daughter, Christy Michele James and son-in-law, John Bibbee. Surviving is his wife of 48 years, Judy, daughters, Jennifer Peters (Robby), Melissa Chittum (Bradley) and Ashley Kraft (Mike), grandkids, Evelyn, William, Luke and Levi Chittum, Ivan and Autumn Kraft, Mama-Claudine James, brother, Rodney James (Donna), sisters, Karen James (Mike) and Sherry Booth (Jeff), special nephew, Logan Gillispie and numerous other nieces and nephews. And lastly his faithful four-legged companion of 15 years- Poncho. Jeff will be missed by all that knew and loved him especially his wife, girls and grandkids. Memorial services will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel, 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2022, with Pastor Bradley Turner officiating. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
