Jeffrey Wayne Barton

Jeffrey Wayne Barton, age 62 of Danville, Virginia passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2026, while a patient of Sovah Health, Danville. He was born on June 25, 1964 and was the son of Virginia Doss Barton, who survives, and the late Edgar Wayne Barton.

Jeffrey was of the Baptist faith and graduated from Tunstall High School in 1982. He had a great personality, and he loved NASCAR and was an avid Kyle Bush fan. He enjoyed all sports and was a good-hearted man who loved life and loved his family. He worked for many years as an auto detailer.

In addition to his mother, Jeffrey is survived by an aunt, Vicky Farley (Gene), four uncles, Billy Doss (Becky), Kenneth Doss, Ronnie Barton, and Raymond Barton (Sandra), a good friend, Hampton Moss, and his best friend, Tim Kearns.

Jeffrey was predeceased by his father and a sister, Amy Elizabeth Barton.

At his request, no formal funeral service is planned at this time.
