Jeri Gough

Jeri Elaine Gough, 62, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024. She was born April 15, 1962, in Bassett, Virginia, to Sallie Croslin and the late Albert Canty.In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffrey Gough.Jeri was a member of Full Gospel Holiness Church and was a dedicated in-home caregiver for forty years. She had a natural talent for designing clothes. She loved being able to sing and enjoyed reading. She was known as an amazing person, who loved her family.She is survived by sons, Demetrius Canty and Kaeylan Carter; sisters and brothers; grandchildren, Demetrius Canty, Jr. and Keyaundra Canty; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.The memorial service will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel. Visitation will be held thirty minutes prior to the service.
