Jerry Alan Allred

Mr. Jerry Alan Allred, age 80, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Northern Regional Hospital in Mt. Airy after a long illness. He was born on March 15, 1946 in Surry County to the late Albert “Bud” Allred and the late Lavis Jackson Allred Beamer. Mr. Allred retired from Westinghouse and later from Cook Medical. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Bonnie Davis Allred; daughter, April Allred; granddaughter, Von Bowers (Cooper Mauck). In addition to his parents Mr. Allred was preceded in death by sisters, Wanda Baker, Ann Palmer, Betty Jo Cook, Willodene Hatcher, and Mary Baldwin; brother, Albert Allred. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with service conducted by Rev. Richard Loman. In lieu of flowers donation may be made online to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
