Jerry Lynwood Fackler

Jerry Lynwood Fackler Jr., age 50, of Bassett, Virginia passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024. He was born on September 28, 1974 in Martinsville, VA to Jerry Lynwood Fackler, Sr. and Mary Foley Fackler, who survives.

Jerry was a 1992 graduate of Bassett High School where he was a member of the Bengals Baseball Team.

He was a member of the Sons of the Amvets' Loved the Dallas Cowboys and the North Carolina Tarheels. Avid WWE fan and loved his dog "Lady" and new puppies. At the time of his death, he was employed as a Senior Logistics Specialist and previously employed at Stanley Furniture until their closing.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Frank and Anne Kahle Foley and paternal grandparents, Lenwood and Colene Fackler.

In addition to his father and mother of Bassett, VA , Jerry is survived a son, Jerry Lynwood Fackler III (Tre') of Mooresville, N.C., also survived by uncles; Barry Fackler and Frankie Foley, aunts; Kelly Fackler, Donna Byrd, Vickie Bryant and many cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Collins Funeral Home, 30 Riverside Hwy, Bassett, VA with Rev. Dr. J.D. Harmon officiating. A visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
