Jesse Steven Shelor

Jesse “Steve” Shelor, 70, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 20, 2026. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Shelor; son, Ryan Michael Shelor; sister, Linda Shelor Felton; and mother-in-law, Linda Davis.

Steve is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Shelor; children, Zachary Shelor and Jonathan Shelor (Katie); grandchildren, Spencer, Kylan, Kenzie, Cole, Blake, Tate, and Nash; mother, Patricia Shelor; sister, Debra Barbour (Rodney); brother, Alan Shelor (Jean); father-in-law, Gary Davis; and brother-in-law, Justin Davis (Holly).

The family will have a Visitation on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 from 11:00am – 1:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA 24019. A Chapel Service will follow at the Funeral Home at 1:00pm, officiated by Pastor Ken Nienke. Interment will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
