Jetta Reva Cole

Jetta Reva Cole, 85, of Roanoke passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Dexter and Naomi (Top) Brown. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, John Cole; brother, Ronnie Brown; sister, Dexter Jean Cooper; son, Dwayne Cole; and grandson, Derek Cole.

She will be missed and remembered by her daughter, Darena Wagner and her husband Greg; sons, Darrian Cole and his wife Nancy and Dale Cole; daughter-in-law, Lynn Cole; sister, Monia Stevenson; sister-in-law, Phyllis Brown; aunt, Mildred Patrick; stepbrothers, Harold and Jackie Horn; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Jetta loved music and flowers, and family was the center of her world.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Babcock Manor of Appomattox, VA and James River Hospice for the care they took of Jetta. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude.

The family will have a Chapel Service on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 2:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA 24019. Visitation will be one hour prior from 1:00-2:00pm. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
