Jimmie Howard Rosenbaum

Jimmie Howard Rosenbaum, 65, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2023. He was born on September 21, 1958 in Pineville, West Virginia to the late Angie Blakenship Rosenbaum and the late Donald Fred Rosenbaum. He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Mrs. Birdeana Payne Rosenbaum.

Jimmie was of the Christian Faith. He graduated from Oceana High School at the age of 17. After High School, he attended Concord College and completed his master’s degree at West Virginia University. After finishing college, he worked for many years as a licensed clinical social worker. He loved traveling and spending time with family.

In addition to his wife, Jimmie is survived by a son; Caleb Donald Rosenbaum of Danville, VA; a step-son; Dominick Parker of Danville, VA; a sister; Debra “Debbie” Rosenbaum Parsons and husband William Parsons and a brother; Donald Barry Rosenbaum both of West Virginia; three grandchildren; Dominick Parker Jr.; David Reaves, Chance Parker; three special aunts; Maxine, Alice, and Mary; Mother in law; Margaret Payne; sister in law; Vickie “Renee” Coward and two very special nieces

A funeral service will be held on Monday October 23, 2023 at 3:00pm at Norris Funeral Services Mt. Hermon chapel, Danville, VA with pastor Gary Pierson officiating. Interment will follow at the Boaze Family Cemetery, Dry Fork, VA. A visitation will be held prior to the service on the same day from 2-3:00pm also at Norris Funeral Services, Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA.
