Jimmy Ray Brewer

JIMMY RAY BREWER, III, 27, of Dublin, VA, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at his home. He was born January 19, 1996  in Manassas, VA.

Jimmy was kindhearted, quiet and laid back. He was very athletic and played every sport in school. He enjoyed skatebording. He loved to play guitar and proudly taught his nephew, Ryan, how to play. He was a mechanic. 

Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother, Sheila Jean Miller and his grandfather, Sammie Miller.

Left to cherish his memory are his children Jamison and Onyx, which he loved very much; his grandmother, Pearl Blankenship Miller; his adopted mother, Cathie Whitmore; his brother, Tracy Grady; his sisters, Brittany Windle & Shawn Carroll and Kayla Martin; close friend & brother-in-law, Lincoln Martin; and his nieces and nephews, Ryan Martin, Jonathan Morehead, Dallas Hickman, Skyla Roop and Willow Carroll. 

Per his wishes, he will be cremated and his family will lay him to rest privately at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Jimmy’s honor directly to A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, 2508 Walkers Creek Valley Rd., Pearisburg, VA, 24134, to help offset funeral expenses.
