It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing our beautiful wife, mother, and sister Jo-Ann Kidd Matthews, gone to early at the young age of 56.
Born on the 4th of July and when she was young we told her that all the fireworks were for her birthday every year. Jo-Ann was a fierce caretaker and defender of her family.
She leaves behind her husband Kurt, Sr., whom she was married to for 35 years; her son Kurt Matthews, whom she was so very proud of and took care of all his life; her sister Debi Coltrane; brother, Daniel Kidd; and Jim Kidd. We are all heartbroken as well as many friends and other family members.
The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Friday, April 7, 2023 from 2 until 4 pm.
