Jo Annette Morris

Jo Annette Morris, 62, passed away on March 25, 2024. Jo was born in Danville, VA on October 11, 1961 to Mrs. Brenda Henry Morris and the late Ronnie Wilson Morris Sr.Jo was of the Christian Faith. She worked for 17 years as a Director at Virginia International Raceway. She previously worked at Dibrell Brother’s Tobacco Company for over 20 years. Jo never met a plant or creature that she did not love. She kept herself happy and busy with taking care of her plants, feeding deer, rabbits, birds and anything else that roamed around that looked hungry. She also enjoyed all kinds of art from painting to ornament making and resin work.In addition to her Mother, Jo is survived by a sister; Karen Morris of Cape Coral, FL; a brother; Ronnie Wilson Morris Jr. of Danville VA; and a half sister; Alexandria Elizabeth Blackstock; and many beloved cousins; Diane & Marc Thomas, Gregg & Ruthie Allen, Caylen & Luke Myers, Kristen & Martin Dailey, Lauryn Thomas, Derek & Kimberly Allen, Von & Briana Allen; special friends; Diane Doss, Louis Dibrell, Robert Guill and Will Money.A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date at Norris Mt.
