Joann Marie Turner Snow

Mrs. JoAnn Marie Turner Snow, age 80, of Dobson, passed away Friday, July 12, 2024, at Twelve Oaks Assisted Living in Mount Airy. She was born September 5, 1943, in Yadkin County to the late Clarence Turner and the late Ila Marie Hawks Turner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Chester CambelSnow; her sister, Faye Snow; and her brothers, Larry Turner, Roger Turner and Tony Turner.

Left to cherish her memories are daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Bruce Chapman, Sheila and Ricky Childress, Melissa and Michael Wilkinsand Tonya and Jody Shelton; her sons and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Becky Snow, and Darrell Snow; 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; and her brothers and sister-in-law, James Leroy Turner (Annie) and Johnny Turner. Mrs. Snow was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, loved her flowers and gardening and was a wonderful cook. She also was a homemaker and farmer and worked for Chatham Manufacturing until her retirement.

Visitation will be Monday, July 15, 2024, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. Services will begin at 2:00 PM in the church with Rev. Raleigh Burnett officiating and Brother Zack Crissman conducting the graveside prayer. The family wishes to thank the staff of Twelve Oaks Assisted Living and Mountain Vally Hospice for the care given to Mrs. Snow. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to the charity of the givers choice. Moody-Davis Funeral Service in Dobson is seevingthe Snow family.
