John Allen Dooley

John Allen Dooley, 35, of Ironto, Virginia took his final ride to the fields of eternity on January 30, 2024.

He was full of life, loved his family dearly and never met a stranger. I think we can all agree Dooley left his mark in the hearts of many.

He was united with his father, Steven Allen Dooley, and mother Karen Anderson Raines.

Those left to cherish his memory are his siblings, brother Bradley Jacob Gasper; sisters, Tina Renay Dooley, Jessica Dooley Morris and husband Samuel Allen Morris, and Katlyn Mae Dooley. His nieces had his heart Allie Mikayla Gillespie, Madison Taylor Morris, Lacie Ashlynn Morris, Kailyn Atkinson Gasper, Haley Atkinson Gasper, and Rileigh Gasper. He is also survived by one great niece Layken Rae Moore and one nephew Xavier Craighead. He leaves behind his best friend and companion his horse Haley.

The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm.

There must have been an opening for one hell of a horse and buggy driver on the other side….and our beloved brother got the job!
