John Johnson

John Henry Johnson, Jr., age 82, of 2041 Deerfield Road, Millboro, Virginia died on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at The Woodlands Health & Rehabilitation Center in Clifton Forge, Virginia.

John was born on November 20, 1943 in Clifton Forge, Virginia to the late John H. Johnson, Sr. and Marion Grey Hinebaugh Johnson. He was a machinist for CSX Transportation and a member of the Clifton Forge Moose Lodge and the Clifton Forge Elks Lodge. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and living on his farm.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Zicafoose Johnson, and a daughter-in-law, Christy B. Johnson.

He is survived by his son, Jeff Johnson of Clifton Forge, and a number of cousins.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026 at 2:00 PM in Alleghany Memorial Park, Low Moor with Mr. Chris Fisher officiating.
