John "Ny" Melvin Woodall

John “Johnny” Melvin Woodall, 64, passed away at his residence on July 4, 2025. Johnny was born in Halifax, VA on May 30, 1961 to the late Gracie Baynes Woodall and the late Clarence Woodall. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Mrs. Cindy Trammell Woodall.

Johnny was of the Baptist Faith. He worked for many years as a truck driver. He had a special love for Harley Davidson’s, and loved riding his Harley’s.

In addition to his wife, Johnny is survived by a daughter; Brandi W. Garrett and husband Thomas; four brothers; Danny Woodall, Bobby Woodall (Joann), Clarence Woodall Jr., and Thomas Woodall; three sisters; Mary Taylor, Elsie Hudgins, and Betty Alderson.

In addition to his parents, Johnny was predeceased by a sister; Joyce Alderson.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 12:00pm at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA with Pastor Bob Yeaman officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park. A visitation will be held on the same day prior to the service from 11:00am-12:00pm also at Norris Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA.
