John “Scott” William Deaner, Jr., 78, passed away on June 6, 2024.
A native of Virginia he was the husband of Audrey Deaner, who survives, and the son of John William Deaner, Sr. and Christine Wood Conner, both deceased. Scott had an extensive work history including working for Rowe Furniture, Carter Machinery, and Grimsley and Grimsley. He was a member of Ridgewood Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and fishing.
In addition to his wife those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Tanya Martin and two grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held in Sherwood Memorial Park.
