Johnny Lee Hollingsworth

Johnny Lee Hollingsworth, 81, of Martinsville, VA passed away Friday, December 29, 2023 at his home. He was born June 4, 1942 in Martinsville, VA to the late Jesse Willard Hollingsworth and Edith Irene Haley Hollingsworth. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Julia Krupski Hollingsworth; second wife, Ann Warren Hollingsworth; sister, Judy Hatcher; and brother, Jerry Hollingsworth.

He is survived by his children, Allen Hollingsworth (Janet), Betty Hollingsworth Smith (Rodney), and Troy Hollingsworth; grandchildren, Rusty White, Angela Stires, and Kellan Hollingsworth; great-grandchildren, Autumn, Dylan, Toby, and Theo; step-son, Charles "Chuck" Harris, and his stepdaughter, Amy Harris. Also surviving are his brothers, Joel Hollingsworth (Brenda) and Joe Hollingsworth; brother-in-law, Dewey Hatcher; niece, Jeannie Hatcher; nephew, Jason Hollingsworth (Stacie); great-nephews, Jonas and Jude Hollingsworth; and half-brother, Sam Baumann (Gina).

Johnny was a member of the Elks Club and AMVETS.

The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Norris Funeral Services with Pastor Lucy Turner officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Norris Funeral Services. Burial will be at Roselawn Burial Park.
