Johnny Sterling Lemons

Johnny Sterling Lemons, Sr., 85, of Martinsville, VA passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection. Johnny was born to the late Charles Almond Lemons and Mary Louise Turner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Lloyd Douglas Lemons, Charles Almond Lemons, Eugene Jefferson Lemons, Robert David Lemons, Cecil Houston Lemons, Marvin McDaniel Lemons, Tommy Wayne Lemons, and Jack Dempsey Lemons; and, sister, Mae Frances Lemons Harris.

Johnny is survived by wife, Sylvia Roberta Gregory Lemons; son, John Sterling Lemons, Jr. (Gale); daughter, Brenda Jean Lemons Seay (Robert); grandchildren, Tiffanie Seay Gibbs (T.J.) and Cody Seay (Stephanie); great-grandchildren, Savana Gibbs, Brycen Gibbs, Karrington Seay, and Alex Leavy; and brothers, Danny Wayne Lemons and Richard Lewis Lemons.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services Martinsville Chapel. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Roselawn Burial Park. Pastor Greg Cockram will be officiating the service.
