Jon was a true artist; creating through physical drawings and music. If you were fortunate enough to witness his incredible talents, you had been gifted with knowing the beauty he encapsulated.

An enthusiast of the outdoors, Jon respected and admired all Mother Nature had to offer him. He found joy in the mountains, connecting with the Earth, and swimming. He was a lover of science, animals, comedy, and poetry. A deep thinker, always questioning the vast universe he lived in.

Jon was a fierce protector and loved deeply; there was nothing he held closer to him than his family. Time spent with his children was his source of joy; the memories made throughout his life with us all is what brought him happiness.

The family invites those who wish to celebrate Jon’s memory to the Lake Vista Community Center (200 Lake Forest Dr. Forest, VA, 24551) this Saturday, January 18th at 1:00 p.m. We want to honor his style by requesting all of those attending come in casual clothing, with memories and stories in tow.

The family also requests in lieu of flowers to donate in Jon’s honor to either the Lynchburg Humane Society or Suicide Prevention.
