Joseph Finamore
Joseph Anthony Finamore, 61, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2025. Born on July 1, 1963, he was the son of the late Donald Finamore and Helene Riley Finamore.
He is survived by his loving sons, Jason Finamore (Meagan) and Joshua Marston (Rachel). He is also survived by his brothers, Nick Finamore (Jan), Jeff Finamore (Elaine), Ray Moultrie, and Mike Moultrie (Cathy); his sisters, Pam Staylor and Pam LaBelle (Pat); 12 cherished grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Joe is also survived by his faithful dog companion, Charli, who was a constant source of comfort in his life.
Joe was extremely proud of his service to his country. He served honorably in the United States Army for seven years, demonstrating courage, dedication, and an unwavering sense of duty. His time in the military shaped his strength and character, and he carried that pride with him throughout his life.
Joe had a successful career as a sales manager in the heavy equipment industry, where his expertise and dedication earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike.
Above all, Joe’s greatest joy in life was his family. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and his love for his family was truly unconditional. He was happiest when surrounded by his loved ones, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Joe had a warm and infectious smile that could light up any room. His laughter was equally contagious, bringing joy and comfort to everyone who knew him. His kindness and sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Joe’s warmth, strength, and unwavering love for his family and friends will be remembered always. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday the 22nd from 1-4 P.M. at Don Ho's Restaurant & Lounge located at 365 Lee Hwy Roanoke, VA 24019.
An additional celebration of life will be held in Michigan at a later date and time.
