Joseph Michael Herrmann

Joseph Michael Herrmann, 76, of 5401 Johnson Creek Rd., died, Thursday April 27, 2023, at his residence.

Mr. Herrmann was born August 12, 1946, in Brooklyn, New York. He was the son of the late Earl Herrmann and Evelyn Herrmann, in addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Sandra Ballard Herrmann in 2020.

Joe served in the United States Marine Corp during Vietnam, and later retired with the United States Navy for over 20 years. He was a past commander of the Curtis A. Smith Post 1033 Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Surviving are two step daughters, Debra Loisel and her husband Todd of Covington, Jacqueline Pinkny of Bryans Road, MD; a step son, James Robinson, Jr. and wife Tammy of GA; ten grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one brother; Gilbert Herrmann and sister Linda Lombardi; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his wishes his body has been cremated.

A service will be conducted at a later date.
