Joseph Morris

He was born January 5, 1950 in Clifton Forge, Virginia to the late Roy Allen Morris and Hattie Black Morris. He was a consultant for Inboden Environmental Services and formerly served in the National Guard. He enjoyed refereeing and playing golf. Joe was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Joseph Ian Baird.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda Morris; his children, Crystal Jack and husband, Mike and their children, Austin, Kayden, Colten, Chance and Reed; Mathew Morris and wife, Shannon and their children, Kelsie and Kayleigh; Melissa Morris and family, and Teri Craft and family; three sisters; and a number of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Mr. Chris Fisher officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
