Joseph Robert Medley

Mr. Joseph Robert Medley, age 63, of Mount Airy passed away Monday morning September 9, 2024, at his residence. Mr. Medley was born June 16, 1961, in West Jefferson to the late Maude Ellen Richardson Medley and Carter Robert Medley. Mr. Medley worked for many years until his retirement for WP Simmons Vault company. He is survived by his daughters, Lanae Medley, Ellen Maude Medley; son and daughter in law, Brandon Medley and Raven; grandchildren, Rylan Carney, Chloe Medley; sisters, Lucy Sanchez Martinez, Delra Reed, June Gilley; brother, John Richardson; nieces, Melissa Gail Medley, Christina Smith, Soledad Rodriguez, Yolanda Rodriguez; nephew, Christopher Phelps. In addition to his parents, Mr. Medley was preceded in death by a nephew, Jose M. Rodriguez. A celebration of Mr. Medleys life will be held at a later date.
