Joseph Taylor Bryant

Joseph Taylor Bryant, 66, passed away peacefully at his residence on September 26, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Joseph was born in Danville, VA on July 14, 1960 to the late Iva Merricks Bryant and the late James Ballard Bryant. He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Mrs. Cynthia Hart Bryant.

Joseph was of the Christian Faith. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He worked for many years as a mechanic at Intertape Inc., previous to his retirement.

In addition to his wife, Joseph is survived by a sister; Sally Anne Mills and husband Jerry; a nephew; Nathaniel Mills; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, and brother and sister in laws.

In addition to his parents, Joseph was predeceased by a daughter; Leah Nicole Bryant.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 1:00pm at Highland Burial Park, Danville, VA with Pastor Daryl Joyce officiating.
