Joseph Wellar Anderson

Joseph Wellar Anderson, 66, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023, at his residence. He was born September 1, 1957 in Miami, Florida, to the late Herbert Joseph Anderson and Carolyn Dubreuil Foley.He proudly served his country in the United States Army, and received his Associates Degree in College. He was employed for 35 years as Clinical Manager of Sleep Studies, and had obtained 7 or 8 Allied Health Credentials. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, and camping. He and Candace taught in Germany, Australia, Prague, and all over the U. S. They were together for 20 years.Joseph is survived by his wife Candace Wellar Anderson; daughter, Amanda Squires (James); sons, Robert Kloack (Maria) and Christian Gates; brothers, Tony Anderson (Wanda); and grandchildren, Zoe, Leah, Anahi, Calliah, Kelsea, Julien, Lennon and Triton.All services will be private.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
