Joyce Vandergrift

Joyce Vandergrift, 66, of Roanoke, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Patricia Hartwell Vandergrift.

Joyce found great joy in the simple things in life. She loved working on puzzles and had a special love for Elvis. She also enjoyed singing and dancing, bringing her own unique spirit and joy to those around her.

Left to cherish her memory are her caregiver, Diane Harper; the staff at En Circle; and her many friends who will miss her dearly.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Troutville Cemetery, with Pastor Steadman McLean officiating.

Joyce will be remembered for her love of music, her joyful spirit, and the special place she held in the hearts of those who cared for her.
