Joyce Warner Eanes

Joyce Warner Eanes, 84, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2024. Joyce born in Danville, VA on January 10, 1940 to the late Anna Laura Carvard Warner and the late Wayne Warner. She was also predeceased by her loving husband of many years, Mr. Freddy Warren Eanes.

Joyce was of the Baptist Faith. She worked for many years as a Cafeteria worker for Danville Public Schools.

Joyce is survived by a son; Tim “Butterbean” Eanes of Ringgold, VA; a daughter; Katherine Stowe of Ringgold, VA; a brother; Bobby Warner; three grandchildren; Edward, Esther, and Michaela Pugh; and her beloved dog; Baby.

In addition to her parents and husband, Joyce was predeceased by a son; Allen Stone.

A Graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at 11:00am at Schoolfield Cemetery, Danville, VA, with Reverend Brad Childress officiating.
