Juanita June Walker

Juanita June Walker, 88, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2026. She was born February 18, 1938, in West Virginia, to the late Oliver Wetzel “Bud” and “Madge” Theda Madeline Clay.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arlin “Butch” Lida Walker, Sr.; sister, Izetta Jane Tilley; and brother, Oliver Wtzel Clay, Jr.

Juanita retired after dedicating more than 20 years at Sara Lee in the sewing department.

She is survived by her daughters, Debra Darlene Walker, Rhonda Walker, and Denise Dodson (Sherrill); sons, Arlin L. Walker, Jr. (Lita), and Robert Walker (Tammy); siblings, Nancy Carol (Dale), Jeffrey, Brenda Kay (Wally) Champion, Lillian Elizabeth (Kermit), Bailey Steven Kyle (Belinda) Clay, Teresa Jean Runyon (by death-Frankie); grandchildren, Steven Dillon, Jr. (Angel), Aaron Walker, Chris Dillon (Brittney), Blair Dillon (Tiffani), Morgan Walker (Geoff), and Emily Dodson (Alex); and great-grandchildren, Annabell Dillon, Johanna Dillon, Mary Carson Dillon, and Beau Dillon.

A Celebration of Juanita’s life will be held at her home in Bassett, Virginia.
