Judith Jeanyne (Mitchell) Hall, a beloved member of her community and family, was born on November 12, 1944, and passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026. Her life was marked by unwavering dedication to her loved ones, an exceptional professional career, and a deep commitment to integrity and excellence.

Judy graduated from William Byrd High School in 1963 and embarked on her professional journey with the Norfolk News Paper. Returning to Roanoke, she served as secretary and assistant to the Maitre D at Hotel Roanoke before transitioning to work as secretary to her father-in-law. Her career later evolved as she took on roles as a professional secretary at a National Saddlebred Breeding and Training facility and office manager for Century 21 Real Estate Office, both owned by the same individual. Throughout this period, Judy and her husband managed their Arabian and National Show Horse Breeding and Showing Operation while raising their three children.

In 1984, Judy’s passion and talent led her to become a real estate agent, where she earned a distinguished reputation as one of the Valley’s top agents for nearly four decades. Known for her meticulous nature, Judy ensured every detail—whether in paperwork or client advice—was handled with honesty and precision. Her professionalism and care brought comfort and confidence to countless clients navigating the complexities of buying and selling homes.

Beyond her career, Judy was a woman of warmth and charm. Her trademark smile and sense of humor brightened the lives of all who knew her, from her high school years through to her final days. She prized her privacy and cherished her home life in a character-filled 1920s farmhouse, lovingly decorated with exacting attention to detail and surrounded by abundant wildlife. For Judy, the sanctuary of home and family was paramount.
