Judy Cockram Clark

Judy Cockram Clark, 70, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023, at her home surrounded by family. She was born February 28, 1953, in Patrick County, Virginia, to the late James Moir Cockram and Helen Louise Hall Cockram. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Leon “Shorty” Clark, Sr. Judy was such a loving, sweet and precious soul. She attended Fair Haven Fellowship and was an amazing seamstress. She is survived by her son, Donald “Leon” Clark, Jr. (Allyson); sisters, Shirley Overby (David), June Grap, Martha Weaver (Carroll), and Janice Linkous (Mike); brother, Jimmy Cockram (Leigh); grandchildren, Summer Boyd (Ryan), Christopher Clark (Kayla), Zac Watson (Brittany), and Shyann Adkins; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 11:00 AM, at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Randy Sawyers and Pastor Richard Setliff officiating. Burial will follow at Henry Memorial Park. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
