Judy Rea Shelton passed away Tuesday, April 28th at Brandon Oaks Nursing Home in Roanoke, Va. She was preceded in death by her father Frank C. Shelton and mother Mildred Cage Shelton. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Larry Cage Shelton of Salem. sister Brenda Shelton Foster and brother-in-law Lewis Foster of Richmond, Va. She is survived by her sister Sue Shelton Minor and brother-in-law Bill of High Point, NC., two nieces, Kerrie Foster Masten (Tim) of Glenn Allen, Virginia and Kendal Foster Carson (Lee) and one great niece, Quinlin of Ellicott, Md.

She attended and graduated from Andrew Lewis High School where she met many lifelong friends. She retired after a long career with Chapman, Taney, Painter & Logan in Salem.

Judy was very devoted to family and would often put their needs before her own. She was a very quiet, soft-spoken person and will be missed by all.

A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Burial Park in Roanoke on Monday, May 4 at 1:30pm.
