It is with great sadness that the family of Judy Tate Mahan, age 77, of Chatham, Virginia passed away suddenly on April 30, 2024 at her residence. She was born January 29, 1947 in Danville, Virginia to the late Naomi Elliott Tate and the late Malcolm Tate.
Judy was a dedicated piano teacher of 50 years in Dalton, GA and touched the lives of countless students.
She is survived by her daughter Jill, her son Wes, and her granddaughter Brooke.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Leslie Wayne Mahan.
A private service will be held at a later date.
