Judy Walker Gardner

Judy went to her Heavenly home today while holding her daughter's hand. Dedicated, strong willed and loving mother, grandmother and friend; she had a way of becoming a mother to all in her presence. Her genuine personality will be remembered by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her oldest daughter, Tammy Leah Mabry; mother and father, Leonard and Mary Walker; brothers, Melvin, Ira, Glenn and Kermit Walker; sisters, Genny Matherly, Rosalyn Matherly and Sandra Walker. Surviving are her daughter, Heather Brown (Reed); brother, Clifton Walker (Peggy); sister, Betty Kirk (Gerald); five of her most prized people are her grandchildren, Dustin Mabry, Havanna Niblett, Samiah Niblett, Kendall Niblett and Garrett Brown. A limb has fallen from the family tree that says grieve not for me…. Remember the Best times, the laughter, the song and the good life I lived while I was Strong. Her family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
