Karen Paquette

Karen Louise Montgomery Paquette, age 70, of Bayview Drive, Chesapeake Beach, Maryland passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Washington Hospital Center, Washington DC.

She was born February 10, 1954 in Washington DC to the late Warren Montgomery and Rebecca “Cline” Hipes. She set up travel itineraries for extraditions for the Office of the Sheriff, Prince George’s County, Maryland.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael and Paul Montgomery.

She is survived by her fiancé, Donald “Duck” Wilson and his family of Maryland; a daughter, Michele Paquette (Michael Ramsey) and her son, Ridge Ramsey of Roanoke, Va; three sisters, Kathy Cerwensky and her son, Doodle, Debbie Beatty (Mark) and her sons, Charles, Robert (Kelli), Patrick and Steven and Donna Keziah (Adam) and her daughter, CaroleAnne Reimer and her son, Thomas “Jay” Borkowski Jr. of North Carolina; a brother, George “Tony” Montgomery of California and his daughter, Courtney of Virginia.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Ray Sandifer officiating. Interment will follow in Locust Bottom Cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
