Kathryn Good Hoback

Kathryn Good Hoback, 84, of Salem, VA passed away Monday, January 9, 2023, after a long battle with cancer. She was born Monday, May 16, 1938, to the late Saylor Neil Good and Helen Barksdale Good in Roanoke, Virginia.

Kathryn took great joy in gardening at home. She was a professional landscape architect and later a counselor at Mount Regis Center for more than ten years.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Fred L. Hoback, Jr.; son, Fred L. Hoback, III; daughter, Mary Neil Hoback; and brother, Billy Good.

Kathryn is survived by her son, Kirk Hoback of Salem, VA; grandchildren, Benjamin Hale Hoback, (Sammi), Fred L. Hoback IV., and fiancée, Morgan, Ann Katherine Hoback, Eliza Hoback; great-granddaughter, Willa Jo Hoback.
