Kathy Ann Walker Lazore

Kathy Walker Lazore, 65, of Roanoke, VA went to be with the Lord on July 16, 2023 after a difficult but brief battle with an aggressive form of lung cancer. She passed peacefully, surrounded by family. 

Kathy was born on April 15, 1958 in Beckley, West Virginia. She moved with her family to Salem, Virginia when she was three years old. Kathy married Jimmy Lazore, whom she met in high school, on September 4, 1986. 

Kathy was preceded in death by her beloved father, Otis Walker, Sr. She is survived by her husband (Jimmy Lazore), her mother (Margaret Walker), her brother (Otis Walker, Jr.), her daughter and son-in-law (Courtney and Cameron), and four furry friends.

A viewing will be held at 1 p.m. followed by a service at 2 p.m. on July 21 at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem.
