Kathy Gail Forbes Cundiff

Kathy Gail Forbes Cundiff, age 71 of Rocky Mount was born on December 31, 1953 and died peacefully at her home on Friday, May 16, 2025. She was met in the gates of heaven by her husband of 49 years, Calvin R.L. “Buzz” Cundiff; and a special sister-in-law, Brenda Forbes. She was also preceded in death by parents, Harry Lewis Forbes and Rosa Frances McBride. Surviving are her sons, Stacy (Crystal), Matthew (Kelli), Brandon (Kristy); grandson, Evan who she loved as a son; brothers and sisters, Perry Forbes, Sandra (Don), Rosemary (Bobby), Barbara (Raymond); numerous family and friends; and special friends from InnovAge Virginia Pace of the Roanoke Valley including, Lena (CNA), Crystal (RN), Delta Dawn (Assistant), Chuck (Bus Driver), Allen (Medications). Kathy held many jobs over the years including babysitting, KFC, housekeeping and many more. A special thank you to InnovAge Virginia Pace of Roanoke for taking care of Kathy in her final time on earth.
