Kenneth Alan MacKenzie

Kenneth Alan MacKenzie, 58, of Axton, Virginia, passed away Friday, June 30, 2023 at his residence. He was born March 15, 1965 in Denville, New Jersey, to the late Donald MacKenzie and Helen Barattiero MacKenzie.

He had been employed for 20 years as a lighting technician with PRG Inc. He was an ordained minister and enjoyed camping, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. He loved his dogs and the outdoors. He was a collector of found objects. He is remembered by his many friends from all stages of life.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Helena Theresa Delafuente Appell; daughter, Samantha MacKenzie (Edward); step-daughter, Haley Appell; son, Connor MacKenzie (Sasha); adopted son, Hunter Amos; sisters, Karen Luke (Rich) and Christine Luongo (Richard); and grandson, Isaiah MacKenzie.

All services will be private.
