Kenneth Edward Morris

Mr. Kenneth Edward “Pa” Morris, age 77 of Lowgap, NC passed away at his home on Monday March 25, 2024.  He was born February 8, 1947, in Surry County to the late Ernest Franklin Morris and Lelia Virginia Hawks Morris.  He was a mechanic by trade but a jack of all trades.  Pa was a hardworking chevy man.  Left to cherish his memory is the love of his life for over 31 years, Judy Ayers Morris; children, Angela and Jerry Hodge, Wayne and Bobbi Morris, Susie and David Robertson, Daniel and Lisa Morris, Jason and Lynn Morris, and Holly Ann Morris; 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Marshall, Maxine Carlisle, Loyce and Curtis Sowers, and Melody and Steven Slaughter; special friend, Neil Clement; his dog, Dub; and several other family and friends.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Morris was preceded in death by a daughter, Crystal Jeanne Morris; two grandsons, Joseph Dewayne Dowell and Jonathan Wayne Morris; and a stepson, Clayton Junior “Squeaky” McCormick.   Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 28, 2024, at 2:00pm in the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy with Rev. Woody Flippin officiating.  Burial will follow in the Morris Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday at the funeral home from 1:00 until 2:00pm.  Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
