Kenneth M. Baldwin
Kenneth M. Baldwin, 90, of Lynchburg, VA went to be with his LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, May 16, 2026 surrounded by his beloved family.
Born on August 22, 1935, he was a son of the late Mack “Glover” Baldwin and Eunice Wilkerson Baldwin. He was a graduate of Pamplin High School and owned and operated Baldwin Excavating for many years.
Kenneth was a funny, hardworking, wonderful, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather who was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth is preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy B. Kowalsky and Janie B. Layne; and two brothers, William G. Baldwin and W. Eugene Baldwin.
Kenneth leaves behind his beloved wife of 66 years, Doris H. Baldwin; one son, Kenneth “Steven” Baldwin (Cathy); two daughters, Janet L. Baldwin and Sherry B. Arnold (Brian); two grandsons, Blake E. Robertson and Kenneth “Daniel” Baldwin (Kayla); two granddaughters, Madalyn B. Martin (Casey) and Kensley A. Robertson; one great-grandson, Elias “Eli” J. Martin; and Rick Peaks, whom he loved as a son.
A funeral celebrating Kenneth’s life will be held on Wednesday May 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with interment to follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Due to personal circumstances, the family politely asks for no visitors at the residence during this time.
